The Five Villages Preservation Trust (5VPT) was formed in 2005 to fight the huge unwanted and unneccessary Watermark Development in Kentford Heath between the Villages of Herringswell, Kentford, Kennett and Red Lodge. We successfully managed to stop this development and the background history can be viewed by clicking on the link above.
We found that there was a need for an organisation like ours in this Region to counter any unwanted, inappropriate and unsustainable large scale developments in order to preserve our wonderful rural countryside.
We are all dedicated volunteers and have the support of 15 Parish Councils* and other organisations.
This final consultation on the proposed submission documents of the Site Allocations Local Plan (SALP) and the Single Issue Review (SIR) of Core Strategy Policy CS7 is taking place now.
10 January - 21 February 2017 Single Issue Review (SIR) Consultation
